Nebuli’s Post-Brexit Commitment and Pledge to Openness
By now, wherever you are in the world, you would have heard the news that the UK is set to leave the European Union (EU) on January 31st, 2020. So, on this date, I decided to write and post this statement as the CEO and representative of Nebuli to make a public commitment and pledge to openness post-Brexit, rather than making any political arguments of which, like many of my fellow Brits, I’ve had enough and just want to move on!
On behalf of my team, I would like to make very clear that we expect no impact on our ability to continue providing services to our users and customers in the UK, EU, North America, Asia and beyond. We are and will always be open for employees and partners from all over the world and everyone is welcome to join us.
Of course, as a British company – and while we are based in the UK – we have and will continue to comply with all of the applicable laws in the provision of our services to our growing international community. But our philosophy has always been about openness across borders and to all nationalities and nothing will ever change it. We are extremely proud of being a small team of multinationals and we will continue to grow as such.
Our members, customers and partners have been attracted not just by our technology and our hard work and dedication, but also by our multicultural team and a strong sense of diversity. This is what drives our global ambition as an international business.
It is, without a doubt, a time of great uncertainties and it is impossible to predict what lies ahead. Thus, we think it is important that we monitor the impact Brexit will have on the UK’s science, academia and technology sectors and its implications on the wider community within the EU and, indeed, throughout the world.
Nonetheless, we have a positive culture at Nebuli and we focus on the positive outlook for the future. As a deep tech company, we are in the business of market intelligence, data and trends analysis, hence we have the advantage of being able to foresee possible emerging issues, as well as emerging opportunities. As an international business, we will continue looking outward and forward.
